Use TrueID for your own protection

TrueID is intended to help you protect your own digital identity. You may look up information about accounts and identities you control or are authorized to manage.

Prohibited conduct

  • Using TrueID to investigate, stalk, surveil, or harm another person.
  • Attempting to access another user’s account or data.
  • Reverse-engineering, scraping, or overloading the service, or bypassing rate limits and security controls.
  • Using automated tools to abuse public features such as the link checker or breach search.
  • Violating any applicable law or third-party data-source terms while using TrueID.
  • Reselling or redistributing TrueID’s data or features without our written permission.

Enforcement

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy, and we may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
