Four calm steps to take control

TrueID.Help shows you where your personal information may be exposed and what to do about it. Everything you see comes from real information, and everything explains itself.

    Create a free account

    Sign up with your email, Google or Apple. The essentials are free for good, and there's no card to enter.

  2. 2

    Add what you want watched

    Add your email addresses, and family members' on the Family plan. Each owner gets a short permission email first. We only watch an address after its owner says yes.

    See every finding, explained

    Your Command Center lists only what needs you. Each item says what we found, how we know, why it matters, what you can do, and whether TrueID can help.

  4. 4

    Act on a clear plan

    Tick off your security checklist, ask people-search sites to remove you, send privacy letters with legal deadlines, or follow Recovery Mode if something has already gone wrong.

Where each finding comes from

Breach results
A daily check of the emails you've approved against Have I Been Pwned, a public database of known data breaches.
People-search listings
Your own answers in the Data-Broker Tracker. We link you to each site's opt-out page; you send the request.
Your Identity Shield score
The checklist steps you tick. It isn't a scan and uses no outside data.
Scam-link checks
Open lists of known malicious websites, checked when you paste a link.

What TrueID doesn't do

  • We're not insurance. We don't reimburse losses or act on your credit for you.
  • We don't remove you from people-search sites automatically. We give you the links, the letters and the deadlines.
  • We don't store your ID documents or your passwords.
  • A website can't block trackers inside other apps. That needs a browser extension, which is on our roadmap.
