Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This policy explains how TrueID uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites work and remember information. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser.
How we use them
- Essential cookies: required to log you in securely and keep your session active. These are set by our authentication provider (Clerk) and cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in.
- Preference and local storage: some tools (like your privacy checklist) save progress in your browser’s local storage so it works instantly on your device.
- We keep tracking to a minimum and do not use cookies to sell your data or build advertising profiles.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in. Clearing local storage will reset locally saved progress on that device.
